Special Considerations:
My foster fail Pee-Wee, nee Gob, first came to me with his mama Brandy and brothers, Michael and Buster, when they were transported to Vermont from South Carolina last summer. I'd come home after some time traveling and wasn't sure I was ready to be a cat mom again after losing my elderly cat to a long illness the year before but I *hated* not having a feline companion. I had fostered a couple of dogs previously and decided it was time to go all-in on a family of cats. Pee-Wee was the runt of his litter and inherited his mom's adorable snoot, making him easy to identify from his near-identical brothers.
Pee-Wee is just as floppy and ridiculous now as he was as a weenie 1 pound kitten. It's been a joy watching him grow up, especially his gawky adolescence. He is now a slinky, slithery 10 pound gentleman who enjoys chewing my hair and watching chipmunks on the deck. I do miss his whole family and I think of them often (am I sharing this in the hopes it prompts their respective adopters to also share updates? Yes, 1,000%).
Thanks for bringing another great cat into my life, HSCC!
