Stray cats and small animals at HSCC are posted here

Please read below to learn how to identify and reclaim your pet:

1. Look through the photos below. Click on an animal's photo to see their full profile, including details of where they were found.

2. If you think an animal posted here is your pet, please click here to fill out a Return To Owner Request Form (make sure you have the animal's A# handy - listed below).

3. After we receive your Return To Owner Request form, our staff will follow up with you to discuss whether a match is likely, in which case we will make an appointment for the owner to visit HSCC to identify and claim their pet. Reclaiming a pet requires a Return-To-Owner fee (typically $50, however this may change depending on how long the animal has been at HSCC and what resources they have required).

If you have lost a dog, please contact your town Animal Control Officer or Police Department. All found or stray dogs are held in the town holding facility to allow owners to reclaim them. HSCC does not take in stray or found dogs directly from the public.
